01 — Our beginning
How we began.
Himalayan Global School was founded in Byapur, Patna with a single, simple belief: that every child deserves an education that opens horizons. Beginning with a small cohort of curious learners, we have grown into a thriving K-12 community while holding fast to that founding spirit.
Our motto, Darkness to Light, is drawn from the Vedic prayer तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय. It anchors everything we do — the reminder that learning, in its truest sense, is illumination.
